Different Swimming Pool Cleaners

A swimming pool at home means a lot of fun and a lot of work too. Remember that maintaining a pool is no easy task and it is an effort to keep it really clean. Well every good thing comes with a little bit of pain and if you and your family want to enjoy the luxury of a swimming pool you have to make time to maintain it also. This is not a one time job and maintenance has to be done regularly. If doing it manually is difficult you can always get one of the automatic swimming pool cleaners. These may prove to be a bit expensive but remember that it is a one time payment after which you will have it easy as you do not have to do it yourself and manually at that.

Automatic swimming pool cleaners come in several varieties and it is up to you to decide which one suits your requirement both practically and also cost wise. There are three basic types of automatic swimming pool cleaners in the market. These are the robotic, the automatic and the manual ones. Each one has its own plus and minus points and you will have to go through the features to see which of them you would like for your swimming pool.

The swimming pool cleaner which is closest to doing it with human characteristics is the robotic one. There is a microchip which is inbuilt and this copies what humans would do while cleaning a swimming pool. The movements are similar to that of a person and these can be programmed and are not done in a random way. This is one of the most costly swimming pool automatic cleaners and does a thorough job. However, more than being used in domestic swimming polls this is used in resorts and spas. The requirements in these luxury swimming pools with more people using them are a lot different to a one which only family and friends use.

The automatic cleaner is better than the manual one but not as sophisticated as the robotic cleaner. This is one which just has to be powered and then it takes over and does it all. It removes any kind of debris from the pool like stones, sand, leaves and whatever else may have fallen in. The cleaning however is done in a random way and it does not go about it in a systematic method. The new models have sensors which do make it a point to move in the direction of any unwanted material and picks it up.

For a home swimming pool the manual swimming pool cleaner would bean ideal choice especially if the pool is not to large. This also costs a lot less than the robotic one and the automatic one. This will take more of an effort on your part and will also be time consuming. You could make the swimming pool cleaning a joint effort with the rest of the family and can do a good job of it.
